Etiquette
Park Board
1. Play winter rules.
2. Lost ball or ball out of bounds is a 1 stroke penalty plus loss of distance. Boundaries-roads on east and north and fences on west and south.
3. Layout of ditch or ball lost in ditch is a 1 stroke penalty.
4. Lay away from trees under 6' tall. No penalty.
5. No more than 5 people in a group without permission.
6. Each player must have a set of clubs, one of which must be a putter.
7. Replace divots. Repair ball marks. If you don't know how, ask.
8. Keep carts on cart path and use 90 degree rule.
9. No children under 12 on weekends. No small children allowed on the course.
10. Beginners should play when course is not crowded. Not on weekends.
11. No private coolers allowed.
1. Slow players must ask faster players to play through.
2. Out of Bounds: white stakes between #9 & 18, white stakes between #13 & 14.
3. Keep carts and bags off of greens. Keep riding carts 20' from greens and off of tees.
4. Soft spikes only-shirts must be worn at all times.
5. If ball lands on wrong green, lay it off to the side. Never play it off.
6. Play only 1 ball. Do not practice on greens.
7. The management reserves the right to re-group groups on busy days and to deny anyone repeatedly violating rules.
8. All play must start at the 1st tee unless permission is given.
9. Neither the City of LaPlata nor the management is responsible for any accidents or losses.
10. Distance on sprinkler heads are measured to the center of the greens.
